L'Association Liens et Cultures in Bondy held the graduation of their Language Training Programme on 28 January 2023 in Bondy, France.
The ceremony was attended by 150 students, primarily from the Tamil community, as well as students from other communities who had learned Tamil, French, English, and Arabic under the guidance of L'Association Liens et Cultures.
The Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Paris and the Mayor of Bondy attended the event as Guests of Honor.
Speaking at the event, the Mayor of Bondy emphasized the importance of community engagement and praised the Embassy of Sri Lanka for their assistance. The Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Sri Lanka congratulated the students on their achievements.
This marks the 15th consecutive year that L'Association Liens et Cultures has conducted their Language Training Programme with the aim of developing proficiency of language and mother tongues among diasporic children of all ethnicities living in Bondy.
Founded in May 2008, L'Association Liens et Cultures is a non-profit organization based in Bondy with the Mission of fostering unity among the diverse ethnic diaspora in the region.
