Sri Lanka’s new High Commissioner for Uganda H.E. Mr. T. Raveenthiran presented credentials to President of Uganda, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, on 8th of February 2012 at State House, Entebbe, Uganda.
Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner in Kenya is concurrently accredited to Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and South Sudan.
The High Commissioner conveyed the warm wises of His Excellency Mahinda Rajapaksa and people of Sri Lanka to His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the people of Uganda.
The High Commissioner also thanked the Ugandan President and the Government of Uganda for all the support and cooperation extended to Sri Lanka including in various international fora.
The Ugandan President requested the High Commissioner to convey his personal greetings and that of his government to His Excellency the President and the people of Sri Lanka.
