On 02 July, 2019 Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI), one of the largest universities in Russia, held the graduation ceremony of foreign students.
Six (06) Sri Lankan students graduated and received diplomas in the sphere of Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Automation System Management together with other 98 foreign students.
MADI is a leading research and educational center for training bachelors, specialists, masters and researchers in various fields: road, bridges and airport construction, operation and service of transport, economics and management in transport and construction, automated systems of management, traffic safety and management.
The Second Secretary (Commercial), Ms. Chathurika Perera, and the Officer responsible for Consular and Education, Ms. Nayomi Chandrasiri, participated on behalf of H E Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russia, at the diploma awarding ceremony, which was held at the hall of the Scientific Council of the laboratory building in the MADI University.
