The Sri Lanka Embassy in Jakarta in collaboration with Dilmah Indonesia, Miwa Patterns and Ceylon cinnamon entrepreneurs participated at the Women’s International Club (WIC) Annual Charity Bazaar 2023 held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on 08 - 09 November 2023.
Around 40 embassies and local entrepreneurs in Indonesia took part in the WIC Annual Charity Bazaar 2023. The event was graced by the First Lady of Indonesia Iriana Widodo and the spouse of the Vice President of Indonesia Wury Estu Amin. Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Indonesia and ASEAN Admiral Prof. Jayanath Colombage and his spouse Srima Colombage attended the opening ceremony on 08 November 2023.
The Sri Lankan embassy in Jakarta regularly participates in the Annual WIC Bazaar, and the stall attracted large crowd interested in buying authentic Ceylon Cinnamon, Dilmah tea, and the newly designed ‘MIWA Blue Lotus’ range of products.
