The Consulate General of Sri Lanka assisted the Sri Lanka Tea Board to set up its booth in the Sri Lanka Pavilion at the16th International Exhibition for Food, Drink, Hospitality, Foodservice, Bakery, Retail Industries (FHC) in Shanghai, while liaising with the other private sector tea exporters from Sri Lanka which had their own booths in the Sri Lanka Country Pavilion.
The booth maintained by the Ceylon Tea Board offered a free tea service to visitors and provided information on Sri Lanka’s tea industry to the visitors.
The 03-day event at the former Shanghai EXPO center, recorded 30,158 visitors with 1500 companies participating from over 70 countries.
