The Sri Lanka High Commission in London announces its forthcoming event ‘Sri Lanka Business Drive 2024’, an interactive Roundtable discussion on investments with the Commonwealth Enterprises and Investment Council (CWEIC), to be held on 02 February. The event will be presided over by High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Rohitha Bogollagama.
The Roundtable is anticipated to bring together a distinguished gathering of leading UK business personalities, capital representatives, investment advisors, financial experts, and potential investors. This event aims to foster collaboration, dialogue and knowledge-sharing on investment opportunities between Sri Lanka and the UK business community. From Sri Lanka, the Roundtable will be attended by selected business leaders, President of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, senior officials of the Board of Investment and the Colombo Port City Commission.
The Forum will take place in the Rathnadeepa Hall of the High Commission which will be declared open by the High Commissioner on this momentous occasion.
This Roundtable will serve as a platform to explore and strengthen partnerships, exchange insights, and discuss the evolving landscape of investment in Sri Lanka. The High Commission looks forward to hosting this significant event, contributing to the advancement of economic collaboration, and creating new opportunities for growth and development, particularly at a time where Sri Lanka is looking for its commercial and economic trajectories in the ongoing economic recovery processes.
