Sri Lanka High Commission in Islamabad participated at the Pakistan Foreign Office Women's Association (PFOWA) Annual Charity Bazaar - 2023 held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan on 19th November 2023. A large number of Embassies/High Commissions, International & local Entrepreneurs in Islamabad actively took part in the PFOWA Annual Charity Bazaar - 2023.
The event was inaugurated by Begum Samina Alvi, the first lady of Pakistan to generate funds for charitable activities across the country including breast cancer awareness and assisting people in disaster-stricken areas. Acting High Commissioner, A Christy Ruban and spouse attended the opening ceremony of the event.
The well arranged stall by the Sri Lanka High Commission showcased the Sri Lankan culture, renowned Sri Lankan Tea and traditional cuisine and attracted attention of the participants.
