The staff of the Embassy in Tokyo conducted a successful consular mobile service at Sawara “Lankaji” Temple in Chiba Prefecture on the first day of the year 2020. Around 100 Sri Lankan expatriates obtained various consular services and several others received responses to their consular related inquiries during the day. This was the first event of the Embassy’s 2020 event calendar.
Sri Lanka Embassy appreciates Ven. Banagala Upathissa thero, the Chief incumbent of the Temple and fellow monks and the members of the community who facilitated in many ways to make this event a success.
