The members of the Seva Vanitha unit and the staff of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Bangkok participated at the 59th YWCA International Charity Bazaar held at the Central World Live Hall –Zen Gallery from 24-25 November 2012 . Embassies form more than 40 countries based in Bangkok had taken part in the event. The Charity Bazaar was inaugurated by Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali of Thailand.
The Embassy had facilitated the participation of three stalls at the Bazaar which included display and sale of Sri Lankan footwear, Ceylon Tea and handmade jewellery .
