The Foreign Ministry wishes to inform that the Public Service Commission has approved the following amendments to the “PART I: SECTION (IIA) ADVERTISING” of the Gazette notification of the Open Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Foreign Service– 2020 (2021) published in the Gazette of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, No.2/223 of 09.04.2021.
Amendment
The closing date for applications for the above examination mentioned in section 08 (III) of the above notification is extended to 04.06.2021.
Further, the maximum age limit specified in Section 04 of the notification shall remain the same as at the previous closing date for applications (i.e. 10.05.2021) given in the original gazette notification.

ශ්රී ලංකා ප්රජාතාන්ත්රික සමාජවාදී ජනරජයේ, අංක 2/223 හා 2021.04.09 දින පළවූ ගැසට් නිවේදනයේ “I වැනි කොටස: I වැනි ඡේදය - නිවේදන යටතේ ශ්රී ලංකා විදේශ සේවයේ III වැනි ශ්රේණියට බඳවා ගැනීමේ විවෘත තරග විභාගය - 2020 (2021) ට අදාළව පහත සඳහන් සංශෝධන සඳහා රාජ්ය සේවා කොමිෂන් සභාවේ අනුමැතිය ලැබී ඇති බව විදේශ අමාත්යාංශය විසින් මෙයින් දැනුම් දෙනු ලැබේ.

ශ්රී ලංකා විදේශ සේවා විභාගය සඳහා අයදුම්පත් කැඳවමින්, ඉහත පළවූ ගැසට් නිවේදනයේ 08 (III) වගන්තියේ සඳහන් අයදුම්පත් කැඳවීමේ අවසන් දිනය 2021.06.04 දක්වා දීර්ඝ කර ඇති බව මෙයින් දන්වමි.
තවද, නිවේදනයේ 04 වගන්තියේ සඳහන් උපරිම වයස් සීමාවන් මුල් ගැසට් නිවේදනයේ සඳහන් අයදුම්පත් කැඳවීමේ අවසන් දිනයට (10.05.2021 ) බලපැවැත්වෙන පරිදි නොවෙනස්ව පවතිනු ඇත.

இலங்கை ஜனநாயக சோசலிச குடியரசின் 09.04.2021 ஆம் திகதிய வர்த்தமானி, இல: 2/223 இல் பிரசுரிக்கப்பட்ட, இலங்கை வெளிநாட்டுச் சேவை தரம் III இற்கு ஆட்சேர்ப்புச் செய்வதற்கான திறந்த போட்டிப் பரீட்சை – 2020 (2021)’ அறிவித்தலின் பகுதி ꠰: பிரிவு (꠰꠰அ) விளம்பரப்படுத்தல்” இலுள்ள பின்வரும் திருத்தங்களை அரசாங்க சேவை ஆணைக்குழு அங்கீகரித்துள்ளது என்பதை வெளிநாட்டமைச்சு அறிவிக்க விரும்புகிறது.

மேற்படி அறிவித்தலின் பிரிவு 8 (꠰꠰꠰) இல் குறிப்பிட்ட மேற்குறித்த பரீட்சைக்கான விண்ணப்பங்களை அனுப்ப வேண்டிய இறுதித் திகதி, 04.06.2021 வரை நீடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
மேலும், இந்த அறிவித்தலின் பிரிவு 04 இல் குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட அதிகபட்ச வயதெல்லையானது, மூல வர்த்தமானி அறிவித்தலில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டவாறு, விண்ணப்பங்களுக்கான முடிவுத் திகதியாக முன்னர் (உ.ம்: 10.05.2021) இருந்தவாறே அமையும்.
