Seminar On Religious Unity

Leading members of the Buddhist, Christian and Muslim clergy including Viharadhipathies in the Kolonnawa Divisional Secretariat Division attended a seminar on religious unity and co-existence organized by the Kolonnawa DS and UC held at the Kolonnawa Jummah Mosque recently to prevent a recurrence of the Beruwala and Aluthgama incidents. Among the participants were Maha Sangha led by Kolonnawa Shasanarakshaka Bala Mandalaya President Ven. Arama Dhammathilake, Christian clergy led by Rev. Fr. Jude Chrishantha and Muslim clergy led by Hanif Mohamed and Irshad Mowlavi.
