Sri Lanka condemns, unequivocally and in the strongest terms, the assassination of the Ambassador for the Russian Federation to the Republic of Turkey, in Ankara, on 19 December. The Government of Sri Lanka extends deepest condolences to the family of Ambassador Andrey Karlov, and the Government and people of the Russian Federation.

Sri Lanka denounces terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. No cause or reason justifies terrorism, and we condemn this dastardly act as a heinous assault on the rights and immunities of all diplomats to represent their nations in safety and security around the world. While urging the authorities concerned to take all necessary action to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice we emphasize the need for the international community to work together to uphold and safeguard the rights and immunities of diplomats of all nations and international organisations in carrying out their work.

තුර්කියේ රුසියානු තානාපතිගේ ඝාතනය ශ්රී ලංකාව හෙළා දකී.
දෙසැම්බර් 19 වන දින තුර්කියේ අන්කාරා නුවරදී සිදුවූ තුර්කියේ රුසියානු තානාපතිවරයාගේ ඝාතනය ඉතා දැඩි ලෙස හෙළා දකින බව ශ්රී ලංකා රජය ප්රකාශ කරයි. ශ්රී ලංකා රජය රුසියානු තානාපති ඇන්ඩ්රෙයි කාලෝව්ගේ පවුලේ සාමාජිකයන් වෙත හා රුසියානු සමූහාණ්ඩුවේ රජය හා ජනතාව වෙත සිය ශෝකය ප්රකාශ කරන බව වැඩිදුරටත් ප්රකාශ කර සිටී.
ශ්රී ලංකාව සෑම ආකාරයේම ත්රස්තවාදී ක්රියා හා ත්රස්තවාදී භාවිතයන් ප්රසිද්ධියේ හෙළා දකී. කිසිම හේතුවක් හෝ සාධකයක් තුළින් ත්රස්තවාදය සාධාරණීකරණය කළ නොහැකි වනවා සේම මෙම නිවට ක්රියාව සිය ජාතිය නියෝජනය කරමින් සුරක්ෂිතව හා ආරක්ෂාකාරිව ලොව පුරා කටයුතු කිරීමෙහිලා සියළු රාජ්ය තාන්ත්රිකයන්ගේ අයිතීන් හා නිදහසට එල්ල වූ දරුණු පහරක් ලෙස දැක්විය හැකිය. මෙම මරණයට වගකිව යුතු සියළු පාර්ශවකරුවන් නීතිය ඉදිරියට ගෙන ඒමට අවශ්ය සියළු ක්රියාමාර්ග ගැනීමට අදාළ බලධාරීන්ගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටිමින්, සියළු රටවල හා ජාත්යන්තර සංවිධානවල රාජ්ය තාන්ත්රිකයන්ට ඔවුන්ගේ කටයුතු සිදුකරගෙන යාමට අවශ්ය අයිතීන් හා නිදහස සුරක්ෂිත කිරීම උදෙසා ජාත්යන්තර ප්රජාව එක්ව ක්රියාකළ යුතු බව ශ්රී ලංකා රජය අවධාරණය කරයි.

துருக்கிக்கான ரஷ்யத் தூதுவரின் படுகொலையை இலங்கை கண்டிக்கிறது
டிசம்பர் 19 இல் துருக்கி குடியரசின் அங்காராவில் வைத்து இடம்பெற்ற துருக்கிக் குடியரசுக்கான ரஷ்ய கூட்டாட்சியின் தூதுவரின் படுகொலையை இலங்கை ஐயத்திற்கிடமின்றியும் கடுமையான தொனியிலும் கண்டிக்கிறது.
மறைந்த தூதுவர் அன்றூவ் கார்லோவின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் ரஷ்ய கூட்டாட்சியின் அரசாங்கத்துக்கும், அதன் மக்களுக்கும் இலங்கை அரசாங்கம் தனது ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கலைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறது.
பயங்கரவாதத்தை அதன் எல்லா வடிவங்களிலும் வெளிப்பாடுகளிலும் இலங்கை வன்மையாகக் கண்டிக்கிறது. உலகெங்கிலும் தங்களது நாடுகளை தீங்கின்றி பாதுகாப்பதில் அவற்றினை பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தும் எல்லா இராச தந்திரிகளினதும் உரிமைகள் மற்றும் விடுபாட்டு தடைகாப்பு உரிமைகள் மீது நிகழ்த்தப்பட்ட கொடிய தாக்குதல் எனக் கருதி இக்கோளைத்தனமான செயலை நாம் வன்மையாகக் கண்டிக்கின்றோம். இதற்குப் பொறுப்பானவர்களை சட்டத்தின் முன் கொண்டுவருவதனை உறு செய்வதற்கு அவசியமான எல்லா நடவடிக்கைகளையும் எடுப்பதற்கு தொடர்புடைய அதிகாரிகளை வலியுறுத்தும் அதே வேளை, தமது வேலையை நிறைவேற்றுவதில் அனைத்து நாடுகளினதும்ச ர்வதேச நிறுவனங்களினதும் இராச தந்திரிகளினதும் உரிமைகளையும், விடுபாட்டு உரிமைகளையும் பாதுகாப்பதற்கும் நிலை நிறுத்துவதற்கும் சர்வதேச சமூகம் ஒன்றிணைந்து வேலை செய்வதற்கான தேவையை நாம் வலியுறுத்திக் கூறுகின்றோம்.
