President and members of the Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry met with Deputy High Commissioner Dr. D. Venkateshwaran at the Sri Lanka Deputy High Commission in Chennai to discuss business and investment opportunities in Sri Lanka.
The Chamber members who have expertise in shrimp farming, entertainment and investments discussed on foreign investments related tax holidays, preferential tariffs under FTAs to exports and investment incentives, infrastructure facilities etc., with the Deputy High Commissioner and Minister (Commercial) G L Gnanatheva. They expressed their interest to pay a business visit in January 2024and meet the relevant agencies in Sri Lanka to obtain first-hand information on their areas of interest to investing Sri Lanka.
