Zirun Company Limited together with Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Shanghai organized a mesmerizing evening to promote Sri Lankan gems at The Palace Club, in Shanghai.
Approximately sixty guests included celebrated media personnel and Shanghai’s affluent society and members of the club participated in the event.
Sri Lankan food, tea, traditional dance performance, tourism and gem industry presentations, Q & A on Sri Lanka, with free give-aways and a fashion show by Chinese models displaying a range of jewellery made of exquisite Sri Lankan gems were part of the evening.
Zirun Company made history in January 2012 by selling Sri Lankan blue sapphires through teleshopping channel for the first time in China. The Company is now focusing on coloured gem stones from Sri Lanka and to train a group of jewellery designers in Sri Lanka.
