Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka in Chennai, Dr. D. Venkateshwaran paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu on 03 October 2024.
Discussions between the two dignitaries focused on enhancing cooperation in key areas including information technology, business promotion, infrastructure development, and agricultural and dairy sectors. Special emphasis was placed on utilizing Andhra Pradesh's expertise in the Guntur Chilly and Chittoor Mango industries to implement similar advancements in Sri Lanka. Potential collaborations in aquaculture were also explored at the meeting.
