The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Stockholm, Sweden celebrated Deepavali ‘the festival of lights’ at the Sweden Ganesh Temple in Farsta, Stockholm on 29th October 2016.
The Staff of the Embassy participated at the special pooja conducted at the Sweden Ganesh Temple. This special pooja is sponsored by the Embassy annually.
Participation at the celebration of this important religious festival helps the Embassy to reach out to the Sri Lankan Diaspora community living in Sweden in order to respect and appreciate each other’s religious beliefs and cultural practices.
