Consul Generals of Guangzhou express condolences for the tragic bombings and casualties in the Easter attacks in Sri Lanka

During the first week of the gruesome terrorist bombings in Sri Lanka with hundreds of casualties, a condolence book was opened at the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Guangzhou, attended by Mr. Luo Jun, Deputy Director General of the Guangdong Foreign Affairs Office , Dean of the Diplomatic Corps who is the Consul General of Uganda, 25 Consul Generals based in Guangzhou, namely; Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Singapore, Brazil, Canada, Greece, Vietnam, Thailand, U.K, Cambodia, Spain, Japan, Israel, Germany, France, Pakistan, India, New Zealand, Nigeria, Congo, Iran, Mexico, Switzerland, Mali   and two  Actg. Consul Generals from Nepal and U.S.A, who stood in solidarity with Sri Lanka against such  horrific acts of terrorism.

Consul General of Sri Lanka in Guangzhou, Priyangika Dharmasena will be attending the memorial service on 06.05.2019, conducted by South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Guangzhou for two Chinese nationals of their Institute who have lost their lives in the attacks.
