The Consul General of Sri Lanka in Mumbai Valsan Vethody attended the inauguration of the Government Law College (“GLC”) “Model United Nations”, a two-day seminar as the Guest of Honor and Keynote speaker.
GLC in Mumbai is Asia’s oldest and most prestigious law college, with alumnae such as Dr B.R Ambedkar, former Indian President Pratibha Patil and many well-known Solicitors, Chief Justices and Attorney Generals. The event was attended by 400 student delegates including 50 – 60 foreign student delegates.
In the post-inaugural session, the students interacted with the Sri Lankan Consul General on many issues related to international politics.
