The Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Pradeepa Saram called on the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, at the Riffa Palace.
During the meeting, Crown Prince Salman underscored the friendly bilateral relations between the two countries and highlighted that it is opportune to expand already existing collaborations into diversified sectors, particularly in the spheres of trade, commercial activities, investment, tourism, among others.
Reminiscing the vibrant Sri Lankan expatriate workforce domiciled in Bahrain, Ambassador Saram appreciated the Bahrain Government for the employment and economic prospects and opportunities given in various sectors, thus enabling them to contribute towards the economic benefit of Sri Lanka, while being supportive for the progress of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Crown Prince further stated that the Kingdom of Bahrain will remain supportive for Sri Lanka in regional and multilateral fora and expressed his desire to visit Sri Lanka to witness its well-known exquisiteness. The Ambassador acknowledged and appreciated the Crown Prince’s remarks on furthering the cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting at the Riffa Palace was attended by Senior Directors of the Office of the Crown Prince.
