Ambassador-designate of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the State of Qatar, M. Mafaz Mohideen presented open copy of his Letter of Credence to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Soltan bin Saad Al Muraikhi on 19 January 2021.
During the courtesy call, the State Minister wished the Ambassador success in his duties, assuring him of all support to upgrade bilateral relations between the two friendly countries to closer cooperation in various fields. He also conveyed his gratitude towards the Sri Lankan workforce in Qatar for being the stakeholders of the progress and the development of the country.
Ambassador-designate Mohideen extended warm greetings to Amir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of the State of Qatar.
