Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Thailand, Wijayanthi Edirisinghe recently met with the CEO of Advantis Leo Thailand Randika Perera to discuss the company’s plans for regional expansion, with a focus on exploring collaborative opportunities.
Advantis Leo Thailand, a strategic collaboration between Hayleys Advantis Limited and LEO Global Logistics PCL, is a prominent provider of integrated logistics and marine solutions in Thailand and the CLM region (Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar). With a state-of-the-art distribution center and warehouse established in Bang Plee last year, the company plans to expand its business further into Cambodia and Laos.
During the meeting, Ambassador Edirisinghe assured the Embassy’s support for the company’s expansion efforts. She also emphasized the Embassy’s commitment to promoting the development of Sri Lanka's logistics and services sector and highlighted the importance of fostering stronger ties between the two countries in the transportation and logistics industries. General Manager of Operational Excellence at Advantis Leo Thailand Tissa Fernando, and Counsellor (Commercial) of the Embassy Vireshika Bandara also joined the discussion.
