Performance Review and Implementation Division

The Performance Review and Implementation Division which was established in January 2023, has been tasked with the following functions of the Ministry:

  • Preparation of the Annual Action Plan as per Public Finance Circular 02/2020 dated 08 August 2020, and submission of the same to the Auditor General.
  • Preparation of the Annual Performance Report as per Public Finance Circular 02/2020 dated 08 August 2020, and submission to the Parliament.
  • Preparation of the Ministry Progress Report as of 30 September 2025, and submission to the Parliament.
  • Preparation of the Progress Report relating to Capital Budget Allocations of the Ministry, as requested by the Presidential Secretariat.
  • Preparation of the Strategic Plan for 2025–2029 and the Annual Action Plans for each year from 2025 to 2029 for the Foreign Affairs Section of the Ministry, in line with the commitments identified in the National Policy Framework “A Thriving and Beautiful Life” dated 03 March 2025.
  • Handling the functions of the Emergency Response Unit of the Ministry.
