High Commission of Sri Lanka in Pakistan hosts an Iftar -Dinner

The High Commission of Sri Lanka in Pakistan hosted an Iftar gathering for its staff, including local Pakistani staff and their family members, at the High Commission premises on 10 March 2026. The event provided an opportunity for the High Commission community to come together in the spirit of Ramadan, strengthening bonds and fostering goodwill among colleagues, while celebrating the values of unity, tolerance, and coexistence.

The programme commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran by a staff member of the High Commission. Subsequently, a traditional Iftar (breaking of the fast), night prayers, and dinner were served to all attendees.

In view of the current security situation and host country regulations, this year’s Iftar was organized for a limited audience while maintaining the spirit of togetherness and reflection.
