Delegation from Sri Lanka’s Defence Services Command and Staff College visits Pakistan

A 24-member delegation from Sri Lanka’s Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), comprising officers from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, led by Brigadier Pradeep Kulathilaka began their International Collaboration Visit to Pakistan on 28 July 2025. The visit will continue until 07 August 2025. This visit is being facilitated by the Sri Lankan High Commission in Islamabad, in coordination with the Ministries of Defence and armed services of both countries.

This annual visit is a key component of the DSCSC academic calendar, aimed at enhancing the strategic and operational understanding of its officers. It offers participants valuable exposure to international defence practices, fosters greater insight into the Pakistan Armed Forces, and promotes stronger military-to-military ties between the two nations.

During their 10-day stay, the delegation is scheduled to visit the Sri Lankan High Commission, service headquarters, defence industry facilities, industrial zones, and several culturally and religiously significant sites across Pakistan.

The DSCSC, widely regarded as Sri Lanka’s premier institution for training mid-career officers of the tri-services, plays a pivotal role in developing future military leaders capable of responding to evolving security challenges.
