Consul General of Sri Lanka in Karachi, Jagath Abeywarna attended an Iftar hosted by Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, at the Governor’s House. Attending as the chief guest of the event, Consul General Abeywarna joined the other distinguished guests in celebrating the spirit of Ramadan.
The event was attended by over 5,000 guests, including diplomats, government officials, business leaders, and members of the general public. Governor Tessori highlighted the deep-rooted ties between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, with emphasis on the strong cultural collaboration between the two countries.
Moreover, Consul General Jagath Abeywarna conveyed his Eid Mubarak wishes to all, underscoring the significance of unity and shared traditions during the auspicious time of Ramadan.
