The Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Karachi, in collaboration with the Department of Commerce of Sri Lanka, successfully hosted Sri Lanka’s participation at the 20th “My Karachi – Oasis of Harmony” Exhibition, held from 01 to 03 August 2025 at the Karachi Expo Center.
Importers of Sri Lankan products in Pakistan, along with the SriLankan Airlines, partnered with the Consulate General to showcase a range of Sri Lankan products and services. The primary objective of Sri Lanka’s participation was to promote Sri Lankan exports to Pakistan and encourage more Pakistani tourists to visit Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lankan pavilion attracted strong interest from the Pakistani business community and received significant media attention throughout the event.
Visitors to the Sri Lankan stall included Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah, senior government officials, heads of key chambers, Minister at the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Islamabad, Christy Ruban and Consul General of Sri Lanka in Karachi, Jagath Abeywarna.
