Non Death Compensation
Eligibility: Sri Lankan Migrant Workers
Method of Submitting Application: Directly at the Consular Affairs Division, or by post, email, fax, or through Regional Offices in Matara, Kandy, Trincomalee, or Kurunegala.

Time to Submit Application: 08:30 hrs – 15:00 hrs
Fees for This Service: None
Service Processing Time: As soon as court proceedings conclude or the foreign employer settles legal dues.
Necessary Supporting Documents: The applicant, complainant, or relative must meet the responsible officer with proof of identity. Requirements vary by case.
Application Form: A formal request letter for the complaint is sufficient.
Following documents should be produced with the application:
- Duly filled application by the Next of Kin (NoK)
- Request letter for compensation
- Employer details
- Service agreement
- Company identity card
- Insurance details
- Bank details
- Medical reports (if necessary)
- Passport copy with visa pages
For a Court Case:
- Power of Attorney
- Other legal documents (e.g., Birth or Marriage Certificate)
If the court judgment identifies the applicant as the offender, compensation cannot be granted.
Required documents may vary depending on the case and the country involved.
