Prof. G.L. Peiris, Minister of External Affairs, held bilateral discussions with Ms. Julie Bishop, Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the sidelines of the Indian Ocean Rim Association Ministerial Meeting in Perth, Western Australia.
The discussions covered all aspects of the bilateral relationship, in particular the revamped Colombo Plan, the Joint Working Group between Sri Lanka and Australia, trade and investment, and security cooperation.
